Research On The Relationship Of IT Capability, Trust, Environment Uncertainty And Supply Chain Integration

In recent years, along with the rapid development of information and communicationnetwork and coming of the era of big data, great changes have taken place in marketenvironment of enterprises, the huge pressure of competition forces firms to shorten theproduct life cycle to expand diversified products quickly to adapt to the changing of the newtechnology, which makes supply chain is more and more complex and dynamic. In order toadapt to changeful business environment, many companies began to focus on supply chainintegration. However, in complex and dynamic environment, how to integrate supply chain isenterprises’ priority problem. Although many scholars have proved that supply chainintegration has impact on competitiveness of enterprise, operating performance, but theresearch of driving factors of supply chain integration are still not expanded.Based on the above situation, this study constructs the theoretical model of relationshipof information technology capability, trust, environment uncertainty and supply chainintegration based on resource-based view and transaction costs theory. Based on the sample of187manufacturing enterprises of Pearl River Delta area in Guangdong Province, this studyadopts descriptive statistics analysis, CFA, correlation analysis, hierarchical regressionmodeling and method of testing moderating effect with spss17.0and amos7.0.The result shows that (1) information technology capability has significant influence onsupplier integration, internal integration and customer integration;(2) supplier trust haspositive influence on supplier integration, customer trust has positive influence on customerintegration;(3) supplier trust plays an fully intermediary role in relationship betweeninformation technology capability and supplier integration, customer trust plays an partialintermediary role in relationship between information technology capability and customerintegration;(4) environmental uncertainty has positive influence on supplier integration andcustomer integration, but it has no significant impact on internal integration.This study makes innovative points as follows:(1) This study investigates the effects offactors on SCI, it enriches the theoretical achievements in the research field of supply chainintegration.(2) This paper provides reference for our country’s enterprise making Supplychain integration decision, and it explores the key factors affecting the supply chainintegration to guide enterprises in improving enterprise’s own ability, thus it can helpenterprises integrate supply chain efficiently, rapidly and successfully to improve supplychain performance...
