A Study On Road Public Transport Priority Implement Of Guangzhou

As transportation serves as the harbinger of national economy, it’s also a topic ofconsiderable importance regarding thousands of households. Recent years have witnessedrapid urbanization accompanying development of the economy in the Guangzhou City as wellas an increasingly demanding population for city public transportation. In the meantime,vehicle holdings in Guangzhou have rocketed, presenting a major challenge to urban publictransportation, and arousing city residents’ concerns. Hence, researches regarding the policy“priority in public transportation” are of considerable significance to the improvement ofGuangzhou’s public transportation, to the harmonious development of the city, the economy,as well as the environment, and also to the sustaining development of urban transportation.Based on reviews and summarizations of relative domestic and foreign literatures, thisarticle pulls together a thorough understanding of the issue as of “priority in publictransportation”, and investigates current situations of urban road development andconstruction.
