A Research Of The Types Of Tourists Of Seaside Tourism In West Guangdong Area

Coastal tourism as the fastest growing areas of tourism, the related coastal tourismresearch has become a hot spot of tourism research. Coastal tourism industry started late inour country, but development is rapid. The domestic research on general coastal tourismemphasis on tourism object, mainly concentrated on the evaluation and development oftourism resources, case studies about tourism resort and problems in the development ofseaside tourism etc., and less study on coastal tourism activities.The western coastal area of Guangdong Province are rich in coastal tourism resourcesand with good condition, but have small influence over the country. Therefore, this articlestudy from the perspective of tourism subject, the travelers in seaside tourism in west ofGuangdong Province as the research object, based on the theory of the classification of thetourists, through questionnaires, combined with data analysis software of EXCEL andSPSS19.0, the western Guangdong coastal tourism tourists are of four main types: relax, thepursuit of tourist interest and challenge tourists, the pursuit of social tourists and the pursuitof leisure tourists. Then through the analysis of different types of tourists for the evaluationof the tourism experience, put forward some suggestions of improving the tourismcompetitiveness of west Guangdong coastal tourism.
