In this age of information technology, people’s life is becoming more and more rich andconvenient, at the same time, which also means they set new request to enterprises, who canprovide high quality service and products for users with better and faster, who will gain moreadvantage for competition, as well as automobile industry. Automobile supply chain logisticsindustry is always recognized by the international logistics counterparts of the mostprofessional, most complex territory, logistics cost has become one of the important factors todetermine the costs of enterprise management, Efficient logistics operation for the automotivesupply chain to improve the competition ability of role cannot be ignored. Internet of things,The third time revolution of the world information technology industry only after computerand internet, it’s building an information network for all items involved in the logisticsprocess based on the internet, it can achieve Mutual relationship between items within thescope of the global, it has a unique advantage in application in the automobile logistics supplychain. Therefore, this article studies applying Internet of things to automobile supply chainlogistics.First, this paper explained the Internet of things-related theories and key technologiesbriefly, overviewed supply chain management and the automobile supply chainlogistics-related theories, made a brief analysis about the application of Internet of thingstechnology in the supply chain logistics links. On this basis, according to the thought ofsupply chain management, this paper did in-depth analysis about automobile supply chainlogistic from the five aspects, including the car purchase and supply logistics, auto partswarehouse management, automobile production logistics, automobile sales logistics andautomobile spare parts logistics and so on, finally pointed out the problems of various types oflogistics in operation or management, to determine the requirements of the application of theInternet of things technology on the logistics link. Then put forward the ways to achieveapplications of Internet of things technology in the automotive supply chain logistics,designautomobile supply chain logistics management system process, and optimize some key joints, and analyze the function achieved by application of the internet of things technology onlogistics management system. At last, design automobile supply chain logistics managementsystem based on the Internet of things, build system components framework and platformarchitecture, build EPC internet of things, analyzed the design application framework forsystem.The Internet of things technology application in automobile supply chain logistics, hasgood effect in such aspects as inventory reduction, effective customer response, improve thework efficiency and operation intelligent. This paper studied all aspects of the automobilesupply chain logistics for the IOT applications requirements analysis, designed the automobilesupply chain logistics management process based on Internet of things, and to establish theautomobile supply chain logistics management system framework and architecture, for thedesign of complete automobile supply chain logistics management system to the groundwork.
