Study On Inventory Control Strategies Of Automobile Spare Parts

Inventory cost has an important impact on the cost of supply chain. For the reason of thenumber of the spare parts inventory、the quantity of taking funds and the distribution strategy，the different types of the inventory control strategy about automobile spare parts have a largedifference on inventory cost. As the rapid development in recent years，the competition amongthe automobile companies is attended to the post-sales service, which lean on the good sparemanagement method. In addition，in order to increase the market share，the automobileenterprises continually update the motor. Thus it is very important how to ensure thepost-sales quality of the gone-out production. It is meaningful to meet the demand of spareparts of these models.There is a significant difference about the quantity of spare parts demand in different lifecycle stages. There is many disadvantages in the inventory management such as liquidity ratio、inventory backlog and dead inventory. In order to solve these problems，the paper presents amethod of transfers between inventory methods in the mature period and set up amathematical model based on the example of Faw-Volkswagen Automotive Company. Thepaper gets the solution of the model and operation process by using genetic algorithm andmatlab language. It is concluded that the model in the ways of inventory quantity andinventory cost is superior to the traditional method. The paper presents a method of recyclingmode of the last order in the recession through Excel and the theory of finite differencemethod for fitting a data analysis tool.
