Comparative Study On Development Of Agricultural Information

With the coming of information era, agriculture also reached the stage of the information. It formed a new challenge to the development of Chinese agriculture. Agriculture information is developing towards to the high strength agriculture information industry. In the United States department of agriculture, the global electronic information network has been built, and large information systems, which have advanced means and open channels, are established too. In Germany, agriculture information gets into the period of computer network, and has linked with Europe, North America, Japan and other countries. However, our agriculture information technology starts late. Right now, agriculture information discipline gets into further research aspects, more clear level and more mature research methods. The related theories have been formed, and discipline system is also becoming clear. At the same time, we need make comparative study with foreign researches.The first part is research trends of agriculture information. The general direction of the agricultural information development, the concept and the content of agricultural information, and the related articles are in this part too. The second part is about the development state in China. Beijing, Guangzhou and Henan are three samples in this paper. Beijing is on behalf a high-tech agriculture information development direction. Guangzhou represents the modern urban village leisure agriculture development direction. Henan represents the development direction of network and information technology. Our agricultural information technology has experienced from simple to comprehensive, from junior to senior, from single to network. In a nearly30years, modern information technology has penetrated into every field of agriculture.The third part is about the development state overseas. The United States and Germany are two samples. The United States represents the development model on high-tech modern information network technology, which needs rich land resources and powerful government. Germany represents the advanced direction of mechanized agriculture information development, which is fit to barren land resources. Foreign agricultural information researches began in the first half of the20th century, and first appeared in Europe, America, Japan and other developed countries. It has accumulated considerable experience.The forth part is the comparative study. At the beginning, I focus on the common ground, then consider about the difference. At last, I put on the issue about the development mode of Chinese agriculture information. The fifth part is about the issue. I put forward several recommendations. The development of agriculture information needs strong support from government. We need improve the laws and regulations of agriculture information. And also, we must increase more agriculture information talent.
