Luoyang’s flower industryhas special advantages for development. Analying and concluding the experience of theYunan and Yanling’s flower industry, this article research the situation of the flowerindustry’s development in Luoyang about the history, current situation and advantagesof it and its opportunities and problems in flower industry, such as the governmentconcentrate its efforts only on industry to the neglect of agriculture, the industrialchain is not completed, circulation systern is not sound, brand attitude is weak,personnels’ quality is not high and science and technology innovation ability is notstrong. To solve these problems, it puts forward the government to strengthen theguidance to plan, intensify policy support; By reasonable layout, speed up the flowerindustry agglomeration; Trough the deep processing of flowers, developing leisuresighseeing agriculture and supporting industry and stronger flower industry chain;Establish perfect market management system, actively build the public informationservice platform; Cultivating brand products, improve flowers added value; Increasinginvestment in scientific research, implement the strategy of talents and counter measures.
