Research On Application Of Quota Management In Logistics Of Tobacco Industry

With the accession to the WTO, China’s tobacco industry is facing seriouschallenges in international competition and the core competitive power of the wholeindustry. The logistics of China’s tobacco industry has obtained certain achievementsafter several years of development, but there remain some problems, such as theinefficient working procedure and imperfect system.The author studied the logistics, logistics management, quota management andother relative theories firstly, and then analyzed the China’s tobacco industry, thecurrent situation of logistics in Q tobacco and the overall development of Q tobacco.After that, the author analyzed and summarized the current situation and exitingproblems in logistics management of Q tobacco enterprise. At last, the author, byusing standard quota management and quantifying the operating indexes in logisticsprocedures of tobacco enterprises, probed into the application problems of quotamanagement in tobacco logistics from four aspects: cost, labor, resources andmanagement.In2012, Q tobacco business logistics enterprise has made certain achievementsin the aspects of management of quality and operating costs by using quotamanagement. In relation to25indicators, such as the enterprise cost index,effectiveness index, efficiency index etc., Q tobacco business logistics enterprise hasbeen up to the standards in per capita labor efficiency and per capita distributionefficiency which hasn’t been up to in2011. Now, seven indicators of Q tobaccobusiness logistics enterprise are classified as advanced indicator of logistics enterprisein Fujian province. At the end of2012, Q tobacco business logistics enterprise wonthe national title of "AAA logistics enterprises".
