Organic agriculture of the USA has a history of many years which explains itsstrong vitality and highlights its growing market and increasing consumer interest.Thus, organic agriculture builds and promotes the development of the farmingsector and positively influences farmers’ agricultural income. It also maintainshealthy environment and enhances the overall quality of agriculture.Basing on the USA organic agriculture which continues to gain ground with itspeculiarities and cultivation methods, organic agriculture of China absorbs itsexperience, advantages and disadvantages. Referring to the USA organic agriculturehelps China to find its own way in this sphere and to maintain its strategic ruralconstructions. Meanwhile, it provides farming sector with adequate workingstandards and appropriate conditions of agricultural labor.This research includes studies of multiple disciplines such as ecology,agricultural economics, regional economics, as well as theoretical and empiricalmethods. This paper also contains the data obtained from different latest sourceswhich reflect qualitative and quantitative analyses.This paper is devoted to the current status of the organic agriculturalproduction of the USA, its state of consumption, certifying organic agriculture andtrading system of organic agriculture. By researching American organic agriculturesector we can find out how rapid its pace is, how strict the standards are and howmuch attention American government pays to its development. With thedevelopment of organic agriculture the quality of soil can be improved, togetherwith the introducing low-carbon economy, thus supporting the quality and safety ofthe food products.This research also reflects the process of development of organic agriculture in the United States. It discusses the problems this sector faces, such as landconversion issues and layout uncertainty. To overcome these obstacles, the USgovernment implements some supporting measures, laws and regulations formaintaining organic agriculture. This includes financial support, credit support andpromotion of agricultural technologies and agricultural education. The Chinesegovernment can use some lessons from the USA organic sector experience in orderto achieve good results in this sphere and to learn some new practices.This scientific research also introduces the current situation of the developmentof organic agriculture in China. Chinese technical support for this sector isrelatively weak; the social service system is imperfect. It doesn’t receive adequategovernmental support and doesn’t have proper standard certification system. Theorganic sector in China also lacks sufficient governmental propaganda, so theawareness of consumers is extremely low. In other words, China is in need ofimproving laws and regulations, strengthening governmental efforts of support andactive promotion of organic agriculture among the citizens. Cultivating people’sawareness followed by introducing strict organic certification standards is thepriority task for China nowadays.
