At present beacause of the development of information technology and the increasing ofeconomic globalization, enterprises need to adapt to rapidly changing market, various ofcomplex tasks and knowledge workers who want to participate in the business activities. Atthis time, the enterprise organization and management mode is facing seriouschallenges, therefore more and more enterprises choosed the form of team as its unit of work.Compared with other types of enterprises, high-tech enterprises faced with complex andever-changing external environment, so these enterprises need good team work. In thehigh-tech enterprise, the team’s work form is more widely available, and team performancedirectly affects the survival and development of high-tech enterprises. However, due todifferences in the team leader’s personality, team atmosphere become different, thereby theoverall team performances will be affected. At this point, by studying the influence ofdifferent team leader personality on team atmosphere and then analyzing its influence on teamperformance have very important theoretical and practical significance.This study firstly reviews the previous literatures, and builds the mediation model of theimpact of the leader personality to team performance, analyzes how different types of leaderpersonality affact team performance, and introduces the team atmosphere as the mediationvariable, further analysis the role of team atmosphere in the model. In the meantime, thevariable of leader personality is divided into five dimensions including extroversion,agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism and openness. This study adopts the method ofquantitative data to verify the model, and mainly adopts the network questionnaire survey.This study chooses the team members in high-tech enterprises as the research object, andfinally collects a total of184valid samples. This study uses SPSS17.0software, and verifiesthe hypothesis of the research model through many statistical analysis methods.According to the data analysis results, four leader personalitie dimensions includingextraversion, agreeableness, responsible and openness all have significant positive effects onteam performance, but neuroticism has no significant effect on team performance; four leaderpersonalitie dimensions including extraversion, agreeableness, responsible and openness allhave significant positive effects on team performance, but neuroticism has a significantnegative effect on team performance; the team atmosphere plays a partial intermediary rolebetween extroversion and team performance, and conscientious and teamperformance, meanwhile it plays a complete intermediary role between agreeableness andteam performance, and openness and team performance. Finally, based on the hypothesistesting results, this study puts forward some relevent strategies to improve team performance.
