Entrepreneurship is an important basic theoretical ingredient of entrepreneurialmanagement, many current scholars of different entrepreneurial models have conducteda great deal of in-depth research most of which relates to all aspects of entrepreneurship.Innovation learning is a cornerstone of South Korea’s development due to the fact thatSouth Korea is a country of finite and much pressed upon resources. As such Korea canonly rely on the development of new tertiary industries or the expansion of the same inorder to enhance the country’s overall economic growth. However it is plain to see thatSouth Korea’s current economic lifeline is at present focused too narrowly on too fewlarge countries to support such growth in the tertiary industries. So South Korea inrecent years has been working to increase the third aspect of development of tertiaryindustry. This expansion was based on the development model of tourism which wasused in Thailand, but in contrast to Thailand which is rich in natural resources, in Koreathe environment is not attractive enough to achieve the country’s goals of high growth,so the promotion of medical tourism in recent years has increased the scale and volumeof medical tourism and greatly improved the system. There have been many efforts todevelop medical tourism in South Korea which has resulted in a lot of agents appearingwhich to some extent has greatly helped the government in its push to promote medicaltourism, but many of these medical agents were not open long and they already are nolonger operating, existing for only a short time, the core reason for this is that in theearly days there was no reasonable management system and this resulted in manyproblems some of which forced the closing of said medical agents. Studies thatinvestigated this looked to explain the lack of success in the agency businesses all usedthe Timmons model but there is a certain cultural distance from the environment inKorea when using this united states based model thus it needs some clear improvements,for example, the Timmons model is far more applicable to western countries such asthose in Europe, but South Korea is an Asian country, the Timmons Model more besuitable for traditional business models and not really as suitable for use in an agencybusiness model. If we use the Timmons model to analyze the many types of industry wehave to think about production, wholesalers, agents, sales, intermediate links and manyother issues which need to be dealt with for the model to be accurate however in anagency business model such as the one in South Korea we don’t have think aboutintermediate links and many other issues that effect other industries as they are dealtwith in the Timmons model. So Timmons model is not fully applicable to the SouthKorean medical agency, then in this case, we must modify the Timmons model in orderto match it up to the local environment of Asia in this case Korea. This modified modelwill then be highly suitable to use for analysis according to the results of the study. Therefore others who want to learn how to establish a Korean medical tourism agencyin the most efficient and effective way.
