The Research To Performance Analysis Of Ningbo Branch Of Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Basing On The EVA

The important method and fundamental basis of making management decision correctly by commercial bank is to evaluate its management performance scientifically and reasonably. The performance appraisal system with the core of Economic Value Added(EVA), a concept that is originated in the1990s,has gradually become the most commonly used merits in evaluating company’s operation performance in the worldwide.Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has achieved positive results by introducing the EVA into its performance management system in2009and establishing EVA performance appraisal system whereafter. But we still need to examine our current performance appraisal system and improve it with consideration of sustained economic crisis and stormy horizontal competition.This paper make ananalysis at first about the current EVA performance appraisal system through the actual situation of Ningbo Branch of ICBC on the basis of relevant the oretical analysis and give a description of the advantage and previous defect of the system. Then, this paper give the solution of improving current EVA performance appraisal system by introducing the RAROC, REVA and MVA indicators and put forward an assorted performance appraisal management platform system.Finally, this paper proposes corresponding targeted supporting methods, which include spreading the new performance appraisal system concept, completing the multi‐dimensional performance appraisal system management, and construction of the new performance appraisal system supporting system.
