The Development Strategic Research Of Tianjin Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Park

Industrial Development Area plays an important role for the quality of theregional economic development. Rational Strategic Planning and Strategic Orientationcontribute to the considerable development of Industrial Development Areas. Becauseof irrational strategic positioning, Tianjin Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Parkencountered a bottleneck in the development at present. Thence, it is quite urgent andnecessary for the Park to make sound strategic position and effective positioningsafeguards measures to enhance the strategic management level of the Park, to clearthe future direction of the Park, to reduce operating costs of the Park, and to improvethe core competitiveness of the Park.This paper researches the concept and function of the Industrial DevelopmentArea, as well as the current development condition of Tianjin Dagang PetrochemicalIndustrial Park which is analysis by the SWOT method. On the basis of researchingthe theories of strategic positioning and regional economy, the new strategic positionof the Park and all related guaranteed measures are put forward.The innovation point of this paper is the research of the development strategy ofthe Tianjin Dagang Petrochemical Industrial Park that is the first time to do so, whichcan be applied to guide the direction of the long-term development of the Park, andalso provide reference for other industrial parks.
