Cement and cement product industry, as the fundamental industry in our country, playsquite an important role in the modernization construction. The quality of productsdetermines the destiny of an enterprise and the quality control decides if an enterprise cansurvive in this highly competitive marketGuigang Hengtong Cement Products Co. Ltd is a medium-sized cement productcompany located in Guigang city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. After years ofdevelopment, it has become a company with certain scale and one of the famous companiesin Guigang City. The company attaches importance to the quality control at the beginning,for instance, the company has set up the mechanism of quality control director, which helpsthe company survive and grow in the market. However, as the expansion of the company,the shortcomings of the current quality control mechanism gradually appear. For instance,the over-simple quality control mechanism, non-uniform quality control culture, thedeficient management process and the discontinuous improving mechanism, all of whichstand in the way of the company’s further development.Over half century of development, Total Quality Management Theory, as theauthoritative theory in the field of quality control, has been tested by many countries andcompanies around the world and provided solid theoretical basis to improve the qualitycontrol in enterprises.This paper, employing Guangxi Guigang Hengtong Cement Products Co. Ltd as theresearch objective, puts forward some suggestions in improving the quality controlmechanism of this company based on earnest analysis of the company quality controlmechanism. The paper consists of six chapters and is divided into four parts. Chapter1forms the first part. This part mainly introduces the paper’s research background, researchsignificance, research method and thought, main content as well as innovativeness; chapter2forms part2. This part lays the theoretical foundation for the paper by making a researchon the Total Quality Management theory, clarifying the theoretical skeleton and analyzingthe theoretical implementation method; Chapter3to Chapter5form part3. Chapter3introduces the basic information of the company, analyses the current quality controlmechanism and points out the problems. On the basis of Chapter3, Chapter4puts forwardsuggestions in the improvement of quality control according to the requirements of TotalQuality Management Theory; Chapter5proposes five measures for the implementation ofTotal Quality Management. The last part of this paper makes a conclusion and outlook forthe paper and then points out its shortcomings. The paper provides a sample for the qualitycontrol of the cement industry and cement products enterprises.
