Research On The "Coal-base, Diversifying Appropriately" Development Strategy Of Linyi Mining Group

Since2012, coal products, which were sold well before, have becom e unsalable.Prices in do mestic coal m arket began to slump. There are five m ain factors of themarket loose and oversupply: the downturn of the world econom ic growth and thewidespread influence, insufficient demand of domestic coal, the enhancement of theGrid contro l ability, su bstantial in crease of net im port in coal m arket and theoverinvestment of coal. Faced with negative m arket situ ations, it is substan tiallyimportant for traditional coal ente rprise to know how to a djust and set a reasonabledevelopment strategy, b ecause it h as a re alistic m eaning to ensure th e sound andsustainable development of the enterprise.By way of analyzing industry sectors and development trend of Linyi MiningGroup, and using the m ethod of SW ORT, th is article summarizes the advantage,disadvantage, opportunity and threats of the enterprise, studies th e strategic choiceand implementation strategy, puts forward the “coal-based and properly diversifying”development strategy of Linyi Mining Group, and sets up the strategic developm enttarget: in1~2five-yea r plan, the developm ent pattern co nsisted mainly of m iningindustry with multi point support will be formed. By2015, total assets, sales revenue,profit and tax will exceed27billion,24b illion, and3.8billion res pectively. Thecomprehensive strength of the enterprise will be further enhanced. The profit m arginof coal sector will be changed from77.2%in2012to48.7%, making the main supportof the enterprise. The contribu tion rate of non-coal sectors will be increased from22.8%to51.27%. The industrial st ructure will be more appropriate and the ability ofanti-risk will also be en hanced. Machinery manufacturing, fiberglass and iron m inekeep a sound development momentum, and profit contribution will be increased from6.4%in2012to38.47%. The enterprise will become much more energetic.When putting forward the develo pment strategy, accord ing to the enterp risecharacteristics, this article formulates the principle of strategy implementation and theeight security measures for development: strategy and capital operation, managementinnovation, resource acquis ition, cultu ral construction, science and technologyconstructions, resource utilization, safety management, human resource management.
