The twenty-first century is the age of the knowledge economy; human capital hasbeen replaced by knowledge workers with modern science and technology. Knowledgeworkers become the innovation main body of the organization. This paper studies theenterprise how to design the incentive mechanism of incentive this type of employees intheir free time take advantage of their own knowledge and company resources for R&Dand innovation. This paper focuses on the construction of the principal-agent model anddesigns the incentive mechanism of enterprise innovation. Research the followingquestions:To start with, in the related theory of innovation and research, on the basis ofliterature review, studies the main influence factors affect the knowledge staff innovation,summarizes the theory of innovation and the development of incentive theory.Secondly, based on the principal-agent theory, constructs the theoretical model ofincentive method to knowledge employee innovation, analyzes the research anddevelopment personnel in the face of innovation projects planned and unplannedinnovation opportunity when the best choice. The study found that the knowledge staff’swillingness to engage in potential innovation depends on the value of innovative activities(market) and the value of a share from the innovation. Through the analysis of theenterprise and employees are given threshold value to the potential innovation projectrequirements, and give the critical value of potential innovation project value share.Thirdly, through the analysis of the principle of innovation incentive mechanismdesign, design of incentive mechanism of the target, combined with the theory analysisand comprehensive incentive model of predecessors, design the framework of incentivemethod to knowledge innovation, the framework includes the target motivation, processand feedback incentives of three parts, is a virtuous cycle framework throughout the entireinnovation process.Finally, on the close theory and the research conclusion of this article, empiricalresearch on the3M innovation incentive mechanism, to our country enterprise shows areal incentive employees use of spare time to participate in the case of enterprise andinnovation.
