Research On Influencing Factors Of The IUR Strategic Alliance’s R&D Partner Selection

With the increasingly fierce market competition, it becomes more and more difficultto meet the increasingly demand of the consumer if the enterprises solely relied on its ownresearch and development.in this case, the IUR strategic alliance appeared and has beenwidely used in practice as it can share the cost of R&D、shared the limited resources andbe able to effectively avoid risks. At the same time, the number of the study of strategicalliances in the past few decades has been in the unprecedented growth, but the Union’sfailure rate was as high as40%to70%, the inappropriate choice of partners is one of themost important reason.Thus, the choice of the right partner,take certain measures andpolicies to maintain a good partnership, so as to promote further cooperation has becomethe premise of the successfully and smoothly carry out the IUR cooperation. However，selecting the correct R&D partners is a process depend on many factors of theintegration,In order to select the appropriate R&D partners, the enterprises needs to knowwhat factors impact the selection of R&D partners and how impact.which has importanttheoretical and practical significance for upgrade Union cooperation intention and improvethe success rate of the cooperation alliance.On the basis of the analysis discussed above, the article summarized and analyzed thetheory of the IUR and the partner selection, then constructed the conceptual model of theinfluencing factors of the partner selection based on the3C theory, and then amended andevaluated the variables through expert surveys, as well as other forms of pre-research,Analisied the impacting factor and quantitative the size of the impact factors from theperspective of empirical research, formulated hypotheses. By correlation analysis,hierarchical regression analysis for the data of139samples, the paper studied the role ofeach variable in the theoretical framework. The findings showed that capability、compatibility and commitment had positive affect on cooperation intention.By depthdiscussion of the conclusions of each assumption, this paper did not only provide empiricalsupport for partial existing research, and brought some innovations, especially proposing anew perspective about the compatibility of the relationship and cooperation intention.Therefore, this study is not only to achieve rich and expanding on a theoretical level, butalso provides a strong reference for research cooperation,and provide a reference for theconstruction of the selection system as the mainstay of enterprises, market-oriented andIUR.
