Study On Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of Standardized Production Of Farmers

With the gradual rising of people’s income level, more and more attention has been paid tothe quality of agricultural products. As an important measure for improving the quality andsafety of agricultural products, agricultural standardization is able to guarantee the quality safetyof agricultural products from the source, enhance market competitiveness of agriculturalproducts, increase farmers’ income and improve economic efficiency.In accordance with studies on the production status of agricultural standardization ofdomestic and foreign farmers and the theory of agricultural standardization, this thesis takes thefarmers in Jilin province as its research objects to conduct the questionnaire survey, appliesmethods of questionnaire survey and Logistic Regression Model to study the influencing factorsof standardized agricultural production of farmers in Jilin province, analyzing the productionstatus of farmers of Jilin province. Moreover, such influencing factors of the householder as hisage, degree of education, sheer labor force being engaged in farming, net income in recent3years, and the cognition level of agricultural standardization has also been studied in this thesis.By means of applying the Logistic Regression Model, an empirical research is taken out onagricultural standardized production of farmers in Jilin province, with the following conclusionsobtained: the higher the net farming income is in recent3years, the less reluctant the farmersare in implementing agricultural standardized production; the older farmers are, the higher thecognition level is on agricultural standardized production. On condition that there arestandardized production in surrounding areas, or there are difficulties in agricultural production,the greater the difficulty is, the more governmental subsidy is given, the more advantages aretaken in standardized production, the higher the satisfaction degree of the standardized service,the more willingly the farmers are in implementing agricultural standardized production. Theother four factors as the education degree of householders, the labor force of farming, whetherthe farmyard manure is used in agricultural production, and who is the particular organizer ofstandardized organization do not impose effects on farmers’ will of implementing agriculturalstandardized production.In line with the above mentioned research, five pieces of suggestion are provided by theauthor of this thesis in order to promote the process of implementing agricultural standardizedproduction in Jilin province. The five pieces of suggestion are listed as follows:(1) highlightingthe leading role of demonstration areas of agricultural standardized production;(2) implementing the policy of land transfer to enhance the operation scale;(3) cultivating theprofessional talents with high-quality in agricultural standardized production;(4) strengtheningthe inspection and supervision of quality safety of agricultural products;(5) increasing thegovernmental supports and building the security mechanism.
