With the deepening of housing marketing in our country, the real estate industry hasgradually become the pillar one of our economy. The real estate industry contributes toGDP as well as the social housing problem. High house price doesn’t fear thegovernment strict macroeconomic regulations and control, keeping challenging people’sfragile nerves. Therefore, to ease the housing contradictions, maintain social stability andharmony, the government has taken great efforts on construction of affordable housing.Great events, such as The Central Economic Work Conference all attach great importanceto the realization of the Chinese dream of housing, from which we can see thedetermination of government who wants to solve the housing problem. However, from the housing situation in our country, housing gradually moved awayfrom its basic living attributes, instead, the house becomes a tool of investment andmaking money. In the housing market in China, the supply of commodity house is greaterthan the effective demand, small-size commercial housing and indemnificatory housingsupply is not enough, so it is high time we improve our housing supply system.Started with comparing analysis of the public housing policy of foreign countriesas Singapore and German, this paper comprehensively and objectively analyzes ournational housing condition. Then on the basis of theory of equilibrium of supply anddemand, the author set up models of housing supply and demand equilibrium. Afterdoing empirical analysis using measuring method, the author draws the conclusion:housing supply and demand have a long-term equilibrium relationship, and demandwill affect supply; the gross of housing demand and housing supply is basicallybalanced, while housing demand and housing supply is out of balance structurally. Therefore, hoping the paper can be used as reference to realize “everyone has place tolive”, the author accordingly puts forward an idea that we should set up a nationalhousing system, and make great effort designing basic housing security system.
