Application Of Inventory Management Based On RFID Technology In JW Company

With the rapid development of economy, more and more enterprises have been facedtremendous pressure during the fierce market competition. How to obtain a dominant positionin such more competitors, how to occupy a seat in the market profits, the modernize inventorymanagement becomes more important. After becoming an important part of automaticidentification technology, fasty and efficiency brought by RFID technology takes all thepraise in management services of all walks of life.In the modernize manufacturing enterprises, in a series of production logistics activitiesfrom raw materials to the final finished products, inventory management is the most criticalaspects and it plays an important role during the production logistics of the entireenterprise.Chaotic inventory management will affect the operating efficiency directly, slowdown the cash flow of corporate, cause a lot of stranded capital and bring higher risk. Theadvantages of RFID technology, including rapidly information processing, multi-targetrecognition, highly environmental adaptability etc., have become important means ofenterprise to manage inventory by informatization.At first, this paper describes the principles and advantages of RFID technology, the basiccontents of inventory management, analysis of the traditional inventory management andapplication status of RFID technology. As the JW company in GanZhou JiangXi for the objectof study, this paper designs inventory management module for its existing warehouse,according to the product features of JW company, designs the adapted hardware and softwarefor RFID technology inventory management system, analysis various operational processesfrom warehousing, inventory, outbound, designs the applicable encoding rules in productionlogistics for JW, analysis the module designing as the basic information management modul,the storage management, the database management, the outbound management for the priorityobject of study, provides improvements examples for the similar related manufacturingenterprises.
