Research On The Service Quality Of Home Care In Nanchang

The aging of population is the development trend of the world’s population, China is noexception, but China also has an "old before getting rich" problem. With the development ofChina’s economy and society and rapid urbanization process, the problems of urban elderlypopulation pension draw increasing attention of government and society. And with thedemographic changes of the family, family size and structure tend to be smaller and core,coupled with the social competition intensifies, the traditional way of family support or childpension has been unable to meet the rapid development of aging; While the pension agencycan provide a good living condition for the elder, but limited to the current poor managementof pension institutions and shortage of the necessary policies, funding, personnel and otherresources which pension institutions’ development need, pension institutions can not meet theold pension people’s demand for pension services. Therefore, home care came into being, itnot only has the advantage of traditional family pension care and institutional pension care,but also adapt to the needs of our current situation and social development, the developmentof home care gradually draw more people’s attention to the service quality of home care. Inrecent years, the city of Nanchang actively respond to the development of aging population,continue to explore the suitable model of home care, try their best to improve the servicequality of home care. Despite the rapid development of home care services in Nanchang,service quality of home care has greatly improved, but the service quality of home care stillhave various problems.This paper is based on the models and theories of service quality, study from cateringmeals, cleaning cleaning, medical escort, day care and emergency rescue five factors, issuequestionnaires in six districts of Nanchang, get surveys of home care service quality, therecovered data is sorted out and analyzed separately from the "tangibles, reliability,responsiveness, assurance and empathy" five dimensions to obtain their degree of influence,found currently existing problems of service quality of home care in Nanchang.Finally,according to the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, this paper proposesstrategies and specific practices related to improve the service quality of home care in Nanchang.Innovation of this paper: the study is based on the theories and models of service quality,to do theoretical and empirical analysis of the service quality of home care based on thereality of Nanchang development. Using SPSS statistical software to analyze the servicequality servey date of home care in Nanchang, found home care problems of service quality inNanchang in the; Combined with the actual situation and propose a solution and some specificpractices for the development of home care services and improvment of the service quality inNanchang. However, this study still has some shortcomings, need further research, analysisand demonstration.
