Along with the rapid development of social economy and the continuous improvement ofpeople’s living standard, the dependence of consumer on electronic product is graduallyenhanced. It is the fact that people’s different requirements on the function and appearance ofelectronic products accelerate its elimination rate and thereof increase rapidly the amount ofwaste electronic products. Driven by factors in many aspects such as government rules andpolicies, the economic interests and social responsibility of the enterprise itself as well as thedevelopment of social recycling economy, electronic product manufactures increasinglyemphasis on the recycling use of waste electronic products. However, it brings us a lot ofconcerns with the higher cost and lower efficiency of recycling because of the dispersion ofconsumer’s territory, the insufficient centralization of product recycling as well as the hugevariety and quantity of electronic products. Therefore, it would be important for China toestablish a more suitable operation mode of waste electronic products.Combining with the concept of SDN and taking the operational mode of waste electronicproduct recycling as its research content, this paper proposes a new operational mode ofrecycling with the characteristics of multi-functionality and dynamic stability. First of all, thispaper introduces the researching background and its significance, the domestic and overseasresearch status, the research approach and methods, the major research content as well as itspotential innovation. Then, this paper defines some important concepts such as the wasteelectronic product and the operational mode of waste electronic product recycling, andpresents relative theories of SDN and Mulit-Agent which pays the theoretical foundation offurther researching.Secondly, it analyzes the operation mode of waste electronic productrecycling of its procedure, the application range and advantages and disadvantages. Combinedwith the theory of supply and demand network, it comes up with the operation mode ofsupply and demand network of waste electronic product recycling, defining its concept andstructure, describing the operating process in details and analyzing its operating advantages. After having analyzed the operation mode of supply and demand network of waste electronicproduct recycling, this paper, based on the theory of Multi-agent, describes the property andfunctions of all kinds of intelligent agent, defining the interaction rules of all kinds of agent. Itis on the result of analysis that therecycling node dynamic selection oriented operation modelof the supply and demand network of waste electronic product recycling is built up. Finally, itis about to do the simulation experiment on the model with the help of Netlogo platform to verifycharacteristics of SDN operation model such multi-functionality and dynamic stability.Research indicates that the existing operational mode of waste electronic productrecycling can be expanded by combining SDN theory into the research of the operationalmode of waste electronic product recycling. With the SDN operational mode, the simulatingresult shows that electronic manufacturers are able to dynamically select the recycling node ofrecycling event, insure the optimality of joint agents that are temporarily established tocomplete the recycling. The SDN operational mode has the advantages such as completelyopenness, dynamic stability and multi-functionality. Therefore, it is able to reduce therecycling cost, increase the recycling efficiency and realize the scale economies effect.
