In recent years, with the rapid development of the online travel industry, Taobao Travel,Ctrip as a representative of online travel corporation, by standardized service processes,improved the overall service quality of the tourism industry. Especially online hotel andonline ticket booking these services, with more flexible and diverse forms of service beintroduced, leads a great convenience to people’s travel. However, as competition intensifies,it was more and more difficult to improve the revenue of online hotel industry. In theenterprise profit maximization requirement, how to improve the online hotel booking servicerevenue has become problems to be solved. To solve this problem, research summarized thepricing strategy optimizing as an important means of revenue management, plays animportant role in improving the online hotel reservation service revenue. By analyzing thehistorical transaction data, and making predictions about the factors of price and marketdemand, calculated protection level in each subdivision price segment of the use of EMSRmodel so as to realize the pricing strategy optimization based on revenue management.Through empirical research on the Guangzhou HL travel agency showed that, pricingstrategy optimization based on revenue management is feasible, revenue increase isobvious. This research has reference value for online hotel industry to promoting therevenue management and the fine management.
