The Measure Model And Measure Of City Knowledge Spillovers Ability

The main goals of this research: Firstly, prove that the cityinnovation capability, the city knowledge abosorptive capacity and thecity innovation environment have a significantly pulling effect on thedevelopment of city knowledge spillovers ability. Secondly, provide areference model and a set of index system for the measure work of cityknowledge spillovers ability. Therefore, the research explained the theory,index selection, model design and empirical analysis based on theperspective of knowledge spillovers provider.The study combed the literature of knowledge spillovers, analysisthe research background, research results and the research methods ofknowledge spillovers in the second chapter, and founded that knowledgespillovers have existed in the city. Based on these works, the studyanalyzed the important factors which influenced the city knowledgespillovers ability in the third chapter, based on the Fusonberg model andthe Kay Niels honeycomb model, and by improving the Zhu Meiguangcorrection model, so get the measure model of city knowledge spilloversability. At the same time, based on the innovation capability, knowledgeabsorptive capacity and innovation environment,11three level indexesare set up, and get the measure index system of city of knowledgespillovers ability. The study measured the knowledge spillovers ability of31sample cities of China with the new model in the fourth chapter, and analyzed their characteristics and problems, and suggestions are given atlast. The fifth chapter is the summary of the study, and it mainlyexpounded the main conclusions of this research, innovation, deficiencies,and prospected the future research direction.The main conclusions of this study: Firstly, the city innovationcapability, the city knowledge absorptive capacity and the cityenvironment have a significantly pulling effect on the city knowledgespillovers ability. Secondly, the city knowledge spillovers ability is can bemeasured by econometric models, but the construction of model andindex system, and the calculate work of result is very complicated andtedious.
