With the continuous deepening of the market economy and the increasingly fierce of enterprise competition, the traditional personnel management has been unable to meet the development requirements of modern enterprises. How can the enterprise truly realize the goal which is “There being one person to do a job; As much as possible to explore the capabilities and potential of one person; Putting the right person in the right jobs; Letting the right person do the right things.” This needs to find out the competency model from the core team of ideal. Although there have been many the studies on the competency of managers and relatively more mature, there is lacking for the deepened research on competency based on different position, the different nature of enterprises, the different job. The article is to research on the competency model of management in the view of the private enterprise.The research mainly adopts the literature method, the questionnaire survey method and the data analysis method. Through the literature method, the author finds out the research on the status of competency of the domestic and international, and summed up28competency factors that are designed to the questionnaire which the quality is tested from the questionnaire items, reliability, validity by the SPSS software. Then, the author carried out the questionnaire by the field survey and online survey, and the recycled questionnaires were analyzed, and the data were processed by SPSS, and the current situation of competency was tested on the middle managers of private enterprise by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method which is used in the recruitment of talent, talent reserve building, training and occupation planning.Through the study, the following conclusions are drawn: First, the current competence of middle managers is still mainly in the "generally consistent" stage in private enterprises; Second, the competency can be measured quantitatively, which can provide a quantitative evaluation of the middle managers of private enterprises; Third, the importance of competency factors have showed the inconsistency. Thus, there is still much room for improvement of competency middle-managers in many private enterprises, which also provides a direction for future research.
