Research On The Influence Of Relationship Stability On The Performance Of Supply Chain

Due to the low level of agricultural industrialization in China currently, the freshagricultural products markets are lack of stability and reliability seriously, unsalable of products,instability of quality and price,which shows that the effective mechanism is not yet established toensure a stable supply of fresh agricultural products. Therefore, based on the perspective of supplychain management, it is particularly urgent that Study on the key elements of stability for freshagricultural products supply and the influence of supply chain stability on the performance ofsupply chain.Based on the resource dependence theory，the transaction cost theory and the social exchangetheory etc., this paper has analysis on the supply chain relationship and stability of supply chain.According to the related literatures, the stability indexes cited frequently are extracted as the keyinfluence factors of supply relationship stability of fresh agricultural supply chain(FASC) byliterature statistical method. To study the influence of supply chain stability on the performance ofsupply chain, this paper builds the theoretical model of the influence mechanism, the data fromquestionnaire investigation of the fresh agricultural supply chain is used to inspect the model fittingand the significance of the paths by the structural equation modeling(SEM) approach.The result suggests the viewpoints as follows. First, trust and commitment has significantlypositive effect on financial performance and operation performance. Second, cooperationexpectation has strongly positive effect on financial performance, operation performance andenvironmental performance improvement, which improves that cooperation optimization, goalcompatibility or consistency enhancement between enterprises of supply chain can promote thegreen supply chain. Thirdly, profit distribution mechanism based on cost, contribution and risktaken has significantly positive effect on financial performance, operational performance.Last,Relational capital plays an improving role significantly on operation performance, especiallyon the environmental performance. It illustrates that strengthening exchange of information anddecision making together between supply chain enterprises can reduce instability of cooperation relationship, and get improvement of supply chain performance significantly. However, there areno significant influence of trust and commitment on environmental performance, relationshipcapital on financial performance and profit allocation on environmental performance.
