Chinese family business has grown and developed continually since Reform and Open up policy, and has obtained outstanding success, which contributes so much to state economy. However, influenced by Chinese traditional culture, such as Confucianism, these family companies expose themselves with many problems in Human Resource Management (HRM), which has become a bottleneck to the development and modernization of them. Hence, solving the problems of Human Resource Management (HRM) is urgent and imperative.H Family Business, established in1988and located in Neijiang, Sichuan province, is a pharmaceutical company. After20year’s hard work by its family members, H Company has become a modem medicine-production-enterprise. Like most family businesses in China, H Company adopts very simple methods in Human Resource Management (HRM). These days, problems and defects of Human Resource Management (HRM) are exposed, and becoming the top issue to be settled.Based on the above conditions, this research aims to find out these problems of Human Resource Management (HRM) of H family business and put forward solutions. Firstly, a thorough survey about company’s developing process was conducted, historical causes of such problems were found; Secondly, collecting data, trimming materials, and then summarizing the present Human Resource Management situations, so as to getting a comprehensive overview and detailed information about company’s HRM; Then, according to Human Resource Management (HRM) current status, to find out the problems and defects in H family business; Lastly, providing solutions to Human Resource Management of H family business.Through finding problems and providing solutions to Human Resource Management (HRM) of H family business, this research could be a reference or help for other Chinese family business to settle Human Resource Management (HRM) issues during their management, and it is hoped that this thesis will be of some help to the health development of Chinese family business.
