Existing Problems And Countermeasure Research Of Shale Brick Enterprise In PengZhou

Shale brick, made from shale and gangue through high-temperature roasting, is one kind of building block. With shale as its primary raw material, shale brick, roasted together with gangue or coal refuse, falls on the classification of the Comprehensive Utilization Project of the State Environmental Protection.Therefore, national industrial policy is in favor of the development of shale brick. Compared with clay brick and cement block, shale brick enjoys two magnificent advantages which includes the beneficial quality toward environment protection and the excellent property in load-bearing.Shale brick is one of the most important construction materials in the economic and social development of China. In the market, demand for shale brick embraces increasing popularity in the undertaking of the energy-saving and environment protection has been more requiring, on the basis of further development of the national economy, the rapid progress of urbanization, and the strengthening forces in new rural reconstruction and in the protection of arable land.So far, the research and development of shale brick has focused more on technical skills than on comparatively systematic operation and management due to the following two reasons. On the one hand, limited to its economic radius and primary raw materials, sparsely distributed and small-scaled shale brick industry has given the illusionary impression of little value. On the other hand, shale brick fails to arouse interest or attract attention among researchers outside this industry.Pengzhou, a county which is located in Chengdu, the author has been engaged in the shale brick operation and management for more than ten years and has a relatively further understanding about shale brick industry. After studying the Executive Master of Business and Administration course in Southwestern University of Finance and Economy, the author has been inspired to implement research on shale brick business management through the knowledge acquired here and personal practical experience. The author hopes that limitation on the development of shale brick industry and its solution can be found to bring about changes in management innovation in shale brick industry of Pengzhou, to realize the transition from extensive to intensive economy, and to strengthen the delayed effect and vigor of development through the analysis and research on the problems in the operation and management of shale brick industry in Pengzhou. Meanwhile, the author has also been in the hope that this paper can have a triggering effect on the operation and management research on shale brick industry, attracting more people of vision to suggest ways and means for the vibrant and sustainable development of the shale brick industry.This paper consists of four parts within five chapters. The structure goes as follows.The first part contains introductory information including research background, significance of research, methods, theories involved and literature review. Research background, meaning and methods form Chapter One, namely, introduction. Shale brick related theory and literature review are to be included in Chapter Two.The second part is on the development and prospect analysis of shale brick, making a major part of Chapter Three. In this part, the author is to deliver a brief introduction and simple analysis on the current development and prospect of shale brick industry, and to display the economic and social significance in the promotion and development of shale brick industry in Pengzhou.The third part focuses on the problem-and-solution research, the core of this paper, in Pengzhou’s shale brick industry. In Chapter Four, referring to the success and experience of Pengzhou shale brick industry, the author tries to step further to find out five major limitations in this industry via the analysis of an individual case of the Danjing Shale Brick located in Pengzhou.To wipe out the five limitations in Pengzhou shale brick industry, the author is to take reality into consideration and to respectively propose ways out in order to give directions to promote the development of shale industry in Pengzhou. These five solutions are to be included in Chapter Five.The forth part is the conclusion, in which research findings and the research direction are to be concluded. This paper is to put much emphasis on the solutions to practical problems in operation and management while some new ways to leveling down limitations on shale brick development come into being.1. By putting systematic theories into practice, analysis has been initially taken on in the cases of the operation and management in Pengzhou shale brick industry, taking on a leading effect on people of this industry who attach emphasis on the actual utilization of modern operation and management theories to guide practice.2. When it comes to the harsh situation of finance, this paper has put forward an approachable way that is, the government financial support, and finance from both in and outside corporations, to solve it.3. In terms of the lacking in human resources, methods have been put forward, including the start of human resources department, recruitment, reserve of talents, talent training and picking.4. To solve the problem of scumming and particles-spreading, detailed ways of problem-solving and techniques have been put out to improve the quality of shale brick product and to fade the pollution to the environment.5. In terms of resources bottleneck, measures in solving such problems as the scarce land resources, the guarantee of electrical power, and the lack of manpower have been proposed.6. To solve the problem of inadequacy in innovation, accessible ways of promoting technical skills and optimization regrouping of production factors have been raised.
