According to Drucker (1993), knowledge has become a major economic resource and may even be the only dominant source of competitive advantage in the era of knowledge economy. In such a situation, knowledge management which is aimed at organizational adaptation, survival and competitiveness came into being and became one of the most important challenges facing today’s organizations and managers. Knowledge sharing is the key to successful knowledge management. This paper is mainly about the relationship between psychological safety, knowledge confidence and knowledge sharing motivation. Psychological safety means that employees can express themselves without fear of negative consequences of their self-image, status or career (Kahn1990). Knowledge confidence means that the staff believes he owns non-written expertise with accuracy and reasonableness. Knowledge sharing motivation is the special force that drives the staff to share work-related knowledge with colleagues (Boudreau et。al2003). The results showed that psychological safety and staff expertise will directly affect the confidence of employees’ willingness to share knowledge with colleagues, and the degree of confidence in the knowledge will moderate the effect of psychological safety on sharing willingness. Then the author designs scales to measure the variables in this paper. The SPSS20.0software was used to analyze the reliability and validity of the sample data. Statistical analysis showed that Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient for each variable of the questionnaire was above0.7. This shows that the sample of this study has a certain degree of reliability. This model also has a high level of content validity and structure validity. Since this study is about individual behavior within groups, there is a correlation between each others, therefore we can better validate and test data using hierarchical regression analysis. Finally, this paper made a summary and presented research findings and management implications. The author also points out the limitations of the study, proposes future investigations regarding to the research methods and scale improvements.
