With the coming of knowledge-based economy era, enterprises are required to build up their core competency through various means, such as upgrading their traditional ways of knowledge management, making constant effort on knowledge accumulating and knowledge sharing, and turning knowledge into productive achievement. A common problem existing in organizations is that obstacles prohibit professional employees to share knowledge. Since knowledge cannot transfer within an organization, it cannot reach an optimal allocation. Therefore, to improve employees'knowledge sharing behavior, it is necessary to study various motivation factors and implement a sound motivation mechanism.Based on former research and results, this study focused on connection between knowledge sharing behavior and various motivation factors. Empirical study was conducted in China Telecom Group Shanghai Co. Ltd and 358 questionnaires were sent out. Conclusions were constructed on the basis of correlation analysis, variance analysis, and regression analysis, as follows,(1)On organizational level, commitment, trust, atmosphere and decision making right factors have positive correlation with knowledge sharing.(2)Incentive motivation has an indirect connection with knowledge sharing mainly through atmosphere, trust and commitment factors.(3)Subjective capability has an indirect connection with knowledge sharing mainly through atmosphere, decision making right and commitment factors.
