| Electronic commerce is the basic economic form of trade in the21st century,providing good platforms and opportunities for the competition among the enterprise. As anew marketing and enterprise management tool, the electronic commerce takes theadvantage of flexibility and fastness to promote the rapid transformation of small andmedium-sized enterprises in the export trade, also playing an important role in enhancingthe core competiveness of small and medium-sized enterprise and reducing costs as well asimproving the innovation abilities. In recent years, the economy of Jiangsu province hasalways been walking in the forefront of the national economy. As the small andmedium-sized enterprises in Jiangsu province are important parts of national economy,their e-commerce will heavily influence the leading development of overall economy inJiangsu province. However, some problems, such as understanding deviation, talentshortage and export trade credit deficiency, are still existed in the development ofe-commerce export of the small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu province. Accordingly,what factors are the key factors influencing e-commerce performance, which factors hinderthe performance of e-commerce, where small and medium-sized enterprises shouldimprove? In order to conduct more detailed and scientific research on the performance ofe-commerce export of small and medium-sized enterprises, this paper is a theoretical andempirical research combined, studying the root of the problem and the solution.First of all, based on sorting out the Chinese and foreign scholars’ research on theinfluencing factors of e-commerce export performance, the author presents the conceptualframework of this paper. Secondly, relying on the collected information, the relatedtheoretical research and field research field, this article analyses the present status andexisting problems of the development of electronic commerce of small and medium-sized enterprise in Jiangsu province, stating the factors hindering the electronic commerce exportperformance of small and medium-sized enterprise in Jiangsu province. Thirdly,combining the practical situation and relevant theories, this article raises the hypothesesfrom the perspectives of technology, organization, environment and customers to analyzethe influencing factors of electronic commerce export performance, building up atheoretical model with15influencing factors as well as6performance indicators. As thepart of enterprise performance, electronic commerce directly reflects the whether it canhave the ability to improve the development of the enterprises. However, as the space ofthis article is limited, the electronic commerce export performance in this paper means theusage efficiency in the process of electronic commerce export namely the effect from sixindexes of export performance. Finally, this article designs a questionnaire survey and usesSPSS software to carry out empirical analysis and results discussion on the basis of196effective questionnaires from the small and medium-sized to conduct the factor analysisand regression analysis, verifying the hypothesis and making a conclusion. Finally,according to discovered problem and empirical results, this article provides somecountermeasures for the small and medium enterprises in Jiangsu province to conducte-commerce export. |
