The construction industry, which is the important part of the Chinese industry, faces fierce competition because of rapid development of Chinese economy. As one of the key factors for companies’development, human resource management work is the focus during the competition. Recruitment is one of the important parts in human resource management work. It is not only the major method to get more talented, but also the base for future development for the company.As one of the leading construction company in China, the First Company of China Eighth Engineering Division Ltd gains a lot of experience in recruitment management. However, in order to meet the rapid change in the industry, the recruitment management workingof the company has become a restriction for the future development of company because of its lack of innovation in the recruiting work.This thesis will research the problem about optimal design on recruitment work of first Company of China Eighth Engineering Division.Ltd, using the basic theory of recruitment and some related literature. Basing on the background of development on recruitment work in China, a better system on recruitment will be designed. In the first part of this paper, it will introduce some of the problems existed in the human resource management work and recruitment management work, which includes lacking of strategic idea on making plan on recruitment, lacking of system knowledge which can be used in the recruitment work, inappropriate work during the found of recruitment team, inappropriate methods used in the recruitment work, etc. After analyzing these problems, the paper will use some theory and research methods related to recruitment work to analyze the need on human resource for the company, and give some of the ideas on reorganizing the recruitment working team and recruitment assessment process for company’s future recruitment work. At last, this paper will introduce some of the measures to guarantee the implements on the new recruit system. These measures include putting recruitment plan in the strategic plan as well as new human resource management system, making use of both inner and outer resource of company, paying more attention on corporate culture, etc.All the company need is a mature recruitment system for the future development of its own. This paper would give a reference for other construction industrial company which has the similar problems in their recruitment job.
