Developmental Current Situation And Strategy Of Medicinal Plant Industry In Fujian Province

Based on the advantages of geography and climate,Fujian Province was abundant in Medicinal plant with a wide distribution and a range of variety,it also has great potentials.In recent years,under the guidance of the national industry,Fujian Province has made rapid development in Medicinal plant industry.This paper gives a detailed instruction to the history,resources,distribution,goal and significance of medicinal plant industry in Fujian Province through field survey from the related datas and departments.Based on the information,the author analyses the existing problems of Medicinal plant industry of Fujian Province,such as inadequate laws and regulations,lack of top enterprises,serious environmental problems,less application of science and technology,inadequate protection of wild resources,incomplete forms of industrial organization and so on. According to these conditions of Fujian Province,the author propose a number of advice as follows:to unify medicine develop strategy;to establish the data base of germplasm resources;to strengthen the legal system;to protect the environment;to enhance technial development and personnel training;to increase investment;to strengthen the choiceness of Medicinal plant resources;to build breeding bases of rare Medicinal plant resources;to strengthen standard planting;to strengthen the Medicinal plant cooperation both at home and abroad etc,so as to promote the development of Medicinal plant industry faster and better in Fujian Province.
