Study On Factors Influencing The Training Willingness Of New Professional Farmers In Fujian Province

The problem of agriculture,countryside and farmers has always been the focus and key problem of rural work. With a large number of rural labors forcing into the cities and are engaged in the industry,the trend of rural hollowing is more obvious.The existence of a large number of concurrent business farmers and old-age farmers,agricultural production lacks successors. Agriculture is the foundation industry related to the lifeline of national economy, food production must be provided by the farmer.The current problems of agriculture faces the predicament,the low quality of farming labors and aging farmers can not achieve the demands of modern agricultural development. New professional farmers put forward for the first time in2012is an important manifestation of farmers’ status to improve. Farmers are no longer the identity farmers, and began to change occupation, In recent years, the trend of cultivated land pastureland in Fujian Province are becoming ever more obvious. Therefore, developing the new professional farmers, encouraging and guiding farmers engaged in agricultural are the urgent requirement to promote the development of modern agriculture.Thorough analysing and studing of the connotation and characteristics of new professional farmers, carrying out new professional farmers training work, it makes contributions to improve their own comprehensive qualities and skills, promote the modernization of agriculture,the development of rural economic and social undertakings.Carryying out new professional farmers’ training work is an important measure to ensure the agricultural production has qualified successors.Based on the rural research hot spot in recent years, the thesis takes new professional farmers for the object.The paper tries to understand the existence of factors influencing the training willingness of the new professional farmers in Fujian Province and the problems existing in the training process and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions in view of the current development situation and provide theoretical foundation and practical reference to accelerate new professional farmers cultivation theory in Fujian Province.Based on the elaboration of the meaning of new professional farmers, new professional farmers’ training and the training willingness of new professional farmers and so on.Based on the human capital theory, hierarchy of needs theory, the thesis studys the new professional farmers of nine cities in Fujian Province.Using the research methods of questionnaires, interviews combined with field investigation and other research methods to collect data.The thesis analysis on training status quo of new professional farmers in Fujian Province from three aspects of the basic situation of the new professional farmers in Fujian Province,training situation and training will situation.On the basis of the above work, by using empirical analysis method and logistic regression model, the thesis hypothesizes the factors that may affect the new professional farmers’ training will from four aspects,such as personal factors, family factors,cognitive factors of training and training willingness factors.Using logistic regression analysis method for validation,ultimately determines the sex,age,education level,monthly income,whether family is given priority to with farming,whether the new professional farmer has training experience,the duration of a training project,the training site, the training fees that the new professional farmer can bear and other factors for the influencing factors of new professional farmers’training willingness.According to the model results,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from seven aspects,such as increasing financial investment,perfecting the structural and mechanism reform,intensifying the governments’efforts to strengthen agriculture,make farmers rich and benefit farmers, enlarging legislation process, strengthening the agricultural vocational education,establishing qualification confirmation system of agriculture,innovating the training pattern of the new professional farmers.
