In the process of agricultural modernization,there are many problems in Henan Province,such as low educational background,low skills,farmers' concurrent industrialization,lack of professional and technical personnel in rural areas,and the lack of successors of agricultural practitioners,which makes it difficult for the construction of agricultural modernization and sustainable development in Henan Province."Who will plant the land and how to plant the land" has become an important issue in the development of agricultural modernization.In order to solve this problem and respond to the requirement of the No.1 document of the Central Committee(2012)to cultivate new-type professional farmers,Henan Province carried out the training of new-type professional farmers in August of the same year.After six years of exploration and practice,what is the status quo of the training of new vocational farmers in Henan Province,what problems exist in the training process,and what are the new demand trends? In order to answer the appeal question,this paper starts with the investigation of the training of new vocational farmers in Henan Province,explores the problems existing in the training according to the survey data,and puts forward some optimization suggestions.Through the questionnaire survey and field visits to the farmers who participated in the training of new vocational farmers and those who did not participate in the training,the results show that after the training,the comprehensive quality of farmers has been significantly improved,the satisfaction of farmers to the training is higher,and the training has played a certain role in agricultural production.However,there are still many shortcomings in the training process,which can be summarized as three aspects: first,the farmers' lack of attention to the training-related demands;second,the work system needs to be improved in the training process;third,the farmers' own low comprehensive quality,conservative thinking and weak sense of participation in training.In view of the problems in the investigation of the training of new-type vocational peasants in Henan Province,and on the basis of drawing on the advanced experience of vocational education and training of peasants at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the training of new-type vocational peasants in Henan Province.From the government level,we should increase the publicity and breadth of training plans and policies,broaden training methods,improve training models,improve the evaluation mechanism of training units,and the selection methods of trainees should be more practical.From the training unit level,it is necessary to establish a sound teacher teaching evaluation system and strengthen the management of training resources.From the peasant level,we should understand our own needs,change traditional ideas,improve our awareness of training and participation,correct the attitude of learning and participation,and take the initiative to complete training work conscientiously.Generally speaking,we should combine the different demands and characteristics of each subject to establish a feedback cycle in the whole process,so as to promote the improvement and promotion of the training of new vocational farmers.
