Research On China’s Food Safety Regulation

Food has always been an indispensable human survival and development of material security, the size of the food safety issues have become a measure of the level of social management, personal quality of life, as well as an important criterion for the quality of the country’s economic and social harmony or not. Currently, food safety issues increasingly become the focus of public attention. Food consumption in public life as a necessity, not only affect people’s health and safety, but also affects the economic, social stability and development, as well as public confidence in the society and the government. Therefore, we must rely on government regulation to make food safety problems caused by a market failure. Government food safety regulation is authorized by law, by the rules and regulations set license approval, development of food safety standards, the path of food ingredients and food production, processing, distribution, marketing and other aspects of corporate and individual behavior control. Because of this, in particular the transition period of China’s in-depth study of government regulation of food safety is more profound theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, the use of market failure theory, regulatory failure theory and related methods of game theory, empirical research methods, comparative analysis of relevant research methods and game theory analysis and other methods, in-depth analysis of China’s current food security status of government regulation and the presence of food safety regulation weak rule of law, regulatory agencies set unreasonable regulatory tools are not sufficient information, the lack of social credit system and other issues, and on the basis of food safety regulation proposed reform of the next corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Finally, the use of evolutionary game method to analyze the relationship between the game of government regulation of food safety between the main body and the corresponding three-choice behavior, to draw concrete conclusions from the game model analysis. Finally, this paper analyzes the findings and China’s actual situation to determine the game model of government regulation of food safety objectives, principles and know that thinking, and then build a system of government regulation of food safety.
