With the strengthening of entrepreneurial activity, entrepreneurship research has becomea very active research field in domestic and international academic circles. As the fourth largestcapital of competitive advantage, psychological capital emerged to ascend the advantage of theindividual and organization after the economic, human, and social capitals. The gross amountof researches on entrepreneurial psychological capital, a comparatively new concept, is quitesmall. Researches focused on different periods of entrepreneurs (start-up period or matureperiod) are very rare. This research using the documents and analysis, depth interview andquestionnaires puts forward the concept of entrepreneurial psychological capital, inspects theentrepreneurship psychological capital dynamic tendency and furthermore explores therelationship between entrepreneurial psychological capital, social support and entrepreneurialperformance.Through50interview cases, this research inspects the entrepreneurship psychologicalcapital dynamic tendency. Questionnaire results from574effective questionnaires highlysupport the suggestion. The statistics resulting from the questionnaire about entrepreneurialpsychological capital, social support and entrepreneurial performance indicates thatentrepreneurial performance is highly related to entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial psychologicalcapital and social support, with both social support and entrepreneurial psychological capital asintervening variables. It seems that the more entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial psychologicalcapital accumulated, the more social support entrepreneurs get from their social network, thebetter their entrepreneurial performances turn out to be.This research has expanded application scope of psychological capital theory. Meanwhileit has enriched psychological capital theory. This research may shed some light on how toguild entrepreneurial practices.
