SDHX company was established in March2004, and is engaged in the design,manufacture and installation of construction steel structure in industrial, civil, commercialand professional facilities field. The company owns1st class qualification of steel structureengineering contracting and1st class qualification of steel structure manufacturing. Withthe registered capital one hundred million RMB, the import and export rights, theestablished of technical center of construction steel structure, CAD computer aided designsystem, the company has the capacity to offer customers the services of quotation, design,production, installation, after-sales service with fast speed and high quality. At present,China and Shandong Province vigorously promote the elimination of backward productcapacity of the Steel industry. So SDHX company is vigorously carrying out research anddevelopment of high technology product, such as BFB product, to lead the competition.This article reviews the core competence theory and product innovation managementtheory, analyzes the core competitiveness of SDHX company, and analyzes the status andproblems of SDHX company product innovation. Then, it establishes and improves theproduct innovation management system of SDHX company, based on its status andproblems. The fifth part gives out advices to improve the product innovation managementof SDHX company. The research helps to establish the product innovation managementsystem of SDHX company, help the company to grow healthly, fast and sustainable, andshow a good example to enterprises in the same industry.This article is divided into six parts. The first part makes an exposition through thetopic selection background and research significance, research methods, research contentsand technical route. The second part reviewed the core competence theory and productinnovation management theory. The third part analyzes the core competitiveness of SDHXcompany, and analyzes the status and problems of SDHX company product innovation.The fourth part establishes and improves the product innovation management system ofSDHX company, based on its status and problems. The fifth part gives advices to improvethe product innovation management of SDHX company. The sixth part is the conclusionand prospect.The research of this topic can help the company to develop and improve its productinnovation management, to improve its core competitiveness, to make the enterprisesbigger and stronger, to create great economic and social benefits for the society.
