Study On Tourism Development Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Project

ObjectiveGuangdong is an area of great culture and long history with abundant hot spring resources. The aim of this study is to investigate how to combine the spa therapy with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) bath health cultivation and the culture of south of the Five Ridges’diet, which subsequently contributes to complete the TCM spa cultivation system.MethodsThis thesis adopted integrating the theory with practice method, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, normative research and empirical research method. First, literature review method:making full use of the library resources, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and the other network platforms to collect the relevant data for research. Secondly, questionnaire survey:required data obtained from questionnaire survey, then analyzed by Excel using proper statistical method. Thirdly, a case study of Fengshun international hot spring city by empirical analysis method.GonelusionBased on the RMP analysis of Fengshun Hot Springs Tourism, the culture of south of the Five Ridges and traditional Chinese medicine as the core, we accomplished the project development of such spa health cultivation. The collection of related knowledge of spa health cultivation from all kinds of literature and the summary of the theoretical system of spa heath cultivation provide more complete academic data for scientific research workers. Conelusion"Health Cultivation" is the core theme of modern spa tourism. How to make full use of the advantages of TCM knowledge to develop the heath cultivation projects and to create the spa-TCM culture with south of the Five Ridges characteristics, as well as to constitute the hot spring tourism brand are the mail issues which remain to be resolved in the development of tourism industry of Fengshun.
