Individual behavior directly affects the organization’s activities, and thus affects theorganization performance. An efficient organization also must be made up of highperformance individuals. And the key which affects the relationship between individualand organization is whether the values between individual and organization fit or not. Inthe fierce market economy environment, the employee’s performance will directly affectthe organization competitiveness. Meanwhile, what kind of relationship between person-organization values fit and job performance and get practical management advice arethe main research content and direction of this study.As an important part of our country’s economy, on one hand, private economy isthe main participant in the market economy, on the other hand, their distribution ofindustry is widespread and diversity. Private enterprises are playing more and moreimportant role. However, private enterprises don’t pay sufficiently attention forperson-organization values fit, and the way to promote and implement organizationvalue need to be improved, the effect is not obvious. Therefore, this study researchedthe person-organization values fit of private enterprises.This study aimed at analysis the impact of person-organization values fit toperformance through theoretical and empirical research. On the basis of literature, thisstudy analyzed the data with SPSS19.0. And it gained the regression equation from theempirical research. The results are as below:For the private enterprises knowledge staff, person-organization values fit containstwo parts: the internal part are team orientation, performance orientation, professionalorientation, and the external part are innovation and development orientation andbusiness integrity orientation.Through variance analysis, the degree variable of the demographic variables has asignificant effect on the innovation and development orientation of the person-organization values fit. Position variable has significant influence on each dimension ofthe person-organization values fit and performance except professional orientation andbusiness integrity orientation.Through the construction of regression equation, this study analyzed the regression equation between person-organization values fit and job performance. From taskperformance, the impact of person-organization values fit to performance from large tosmall is sorted as: performance orientation, team orientation, professional orientation,innovation and development. From the surrounding performance, the impact ofperson-organization values fit to performance from large to small is sorted as: businessintegrity orientation, team orientation, professional orientation.In the context of social reality, person-organization values fit has become animportant factor on knowledge workers’ performance, but the influence effect isdifferent.In view of the research conclusion, this study put forward the followingsuggestions: Private enterprises should establish clear and feasible goal and strengthenthe construction of enterprise values. In the recruitment progress, private enterprisesneed to pay attention to person-organization values fit. Private enterprises shouldincrease training opportunities and strengthen the guide of employees’ values. Themanagement for the enterprise knowledge staff should take the personalized measures.Private enterprises should establish the closed-loop circulation channels of enterpriseinternal information. The study stressed that private enterprise not only should payattention to organizational cultural management, especially on person-organizationvalues fit.
