Study On The New-type Urbanization Of Jiaozuo City

With the rapid development of the socialist market economy and the increasinglevels of China’s economy, China’s urbanization has a rapid pace and its level hasbeen improved significantly. However, many bad social phenomena are graduallybecoming prominent such as irrational economic structure, extensive mode ofdevelopment, environment pollution, social injustice and equality drawbacks.Theseproblems requires us to change the pattern of economic development and carry out anew path of urbanization that takes urban and rural development as the whole withresource saving environmental friendly. Henan who is a big population andagricultural province is a microcosm of China’s basic national conditions. So"Sanhua"appears particularly urgent to explore a coordinated development of a road that do notexpense agriculture, food, ecology and environment. Jiaozuo City has a small area, abig population, abundant natural resources and tourism resources and the rate ofurbanization is above the average speed of Henan Province. Given the goodfoundation of its development, we must firmly grasp the historical opportunity of theCentral Plains Economic Zone demonstration city’s economic restructuring andvigorously promote the "Sanhua" development to promote the construction of JiaozuoCity’s new urbanization.This study takes the sustainable development theory as the theoretical tools toresearch industry support, land resources, urban planning, public services, culture,and environmental protection of Jiaozuo new urbanization from four aspects ofeconomic, social, cultural and ecological environment. Through field visits andseminars, we can know about the effectiveness and existing models of Jiaozuo City.And sum up the new urbanization problems and deficiencies to provide somereference suggestions on Jiaozuo City’s new urbanization.
