The Optimiation Study Of Jiangxi Province’s Investment Environment

Good regional investment environment is the premise condition for exterior investors to invest in the target area and is also the essential condition for regions to attract exterior investment. In recent years exterior investment in Jiangxi Province rises rapidly. Though the amount of exterior investment ranks the third in the central regions, there is still a huge gap between the Yangtze River Delta region and Jiangxi Province. Obviously, the difference of their regional investment environment is the main reason which leads to the gap. To optimize its own investment environment is the fundamental way to increase the attractiveness on exterior investment in Jiangxi. Before improving the investment environment, it’s necessary to fully understand and objectively evaluate its regional investment environment.Based on this, the paper starts from the qualitative perspective with the concept of regional investment environment for analysis. Then combined with the latest theory of regional investment environment, it makes more detailed analysis, generalization and summary on the classification, the elements, theoretical foundation and evaluation methods of regional investment environment. At the same time, considering the present development requirement of regional investment environment, complying with relevant principles, it builds a regional investment environment evaluation index system of five-dimension and thirty-six-operation index, which includes those five aspects of economic environment, infrastructure, field effect, social service and natural environment. In addition, this paper chooses the Factor Analysis Method as the evaluation method and also makes an overview of its basic principle, basic steps and fitting test. According to the regional investment environment evaluation index system constructed before, this study uses SPSS17.0-software to make an empirical analysis from the quantitative perspective. There are two concrete processes divided:one is the investment environment comparison between Jiangxi province and the other five provinces of the central regions in2006-2011, and the investment environment position analysis of Jiangxi among the six provinces in central regions; the other is the investment environment comparison between Jiangxi province and the Yangtze River Delta region in2006-2011, and the analysis of the gap between Jiangxi province and eastern coastal developed provinces.The empirical analysis results show:the overall investment environment of Jiangxi province locates in middle level among the central regions, and it has a large drop compared with the Yangtze River Delta region; Compared with other provinces in central regions, Jiangxi province has a comparative advantage in the aspect of opening level and field effect, while a disadvantage in the aspect of infrastructure and social services; Compared with the Yangtze river delta region, Jiangxi province is in absolute inferiority in the aspects of economic environment, field effect environment, infrastructure and social services.Finally, according to the result of empirical analysis, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on optimizing the investment environment of Jiangxi province.
