Supply chain management isno longer just the topic of colleges, experts and scholars when researching, but also gradually be used intothe reality management of enterprise. Through the coordination management of each part of the supplychain, such as procurement, logistics, production, sales, recycling, supply chain management helpscompanies achieve the highest economic benefits. At the same time, it helps enterprises to promote thebrand image, shoulder more social responsibility, and improve the comprehensive competitiveness ofenterprises.As the source of the supply chain, there is no doubt that supplier is very important. The choiceand evaluation of suppliers and management of supplier relationships directly relate to whether anenterprise can do a good job in supply chain management. The selection of suppliers is the basis ofdeveloping relationship with suppliers, but also one of the important content of supply chain management.Due to the influence of the traditional thought of purchasing, and the backward development of our countryin research of supply chain management, our country has not established formal index system of supplierevaluation. With the deepening research of supply chain management and the needs of the development ofsociety, more and more evaluation indexes are involved, for instance, economic, security, environmentalprotection, common development and many other factors.Taking Henan XINDAXIN Materials co., LTD.(hereinafter referred to as "XINDAXINCompany") as an example, the author firstly introduces us of the basic situation of the company, and thenanalyzes its deficiency in supplier selection and evaluation. Then, on the basis of comprehensive analyzingof previous studies, combining with the concrete practice, the author establishes a system of supplierevaluation indexes, which is based on the green, sustainable development thought. The system ofevaluation indexes is made up of target layer, criterion layer and index layer; covers the supplier’s economicstrength, ability for operation and management, enterprise’s development potential, production safety andenvironmental protection five aspects. In this paper, the biggest characteristic is to design according to the characteristics of supply chain management. More comprehensively factors of supplier selection are takeninto account. And it provides a theoretical basis for the evaluation and selection of supplier for enterprises.A perfect system of supplier evaluation indexes must cooperates with scientific evaluationmethods, to make the evaluation results more accurate and reasonable. The traditional supplier selectionmethods are simple rough, and easily affected by man-made factors. In view of XINDAXIN Company’sexisting problems, this article uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to analysis the supplier evaluation ofthe company. Firstly, it draws up a system of supplier evaluation indexes, and then by adopting the methodof interview method, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to evaluate and select suppliers. At last, throughcomparing with XINDAXIN Company’s existing suppliers, we can verify the feasibility and scientificity ofthe evaluation method. Hoping that my study can give XINDAXIN Company a help and provide otherenterprises reference and make a difference.Finally, the author simply discusses the subsequent management of supplier relationships andmaintenance problems, puts forward supplier the significance and the method of maintenance, such asgiving suppliers technical support, allowing suppliers to participate in the early study of enterprise’s newproducts, sharing information with suppliers and communicating management experience, etc. |
