Empirical Research On China’s Regional Economic Strength And Development Level

With the economic globalization, regional integration wave occurs repeatedly, in this rapid economicdevelopment situation, how to deal with regional problems and corresponding solution, this is a veryimportant and popular topic. China as the biggest developing country, and for the greatest socialist country,its regional economy has been facing a huge opportunity, more is facing unprecedented challenges.Combined with the new historical background, dare to face up to and in-depth study on the regionaleconomic development in the new era of China, for the coordinated development, optimize the structure ofChina’s regional economy, regional economic growth mode transformation has important theoreticalsignificance and practical significance.Domestic and foreign scholars research on China’s economic development gap is mainly on theregional economic gap present situation investigation and the analysis of the causes of differences, alsohave through the analysis of the regional economic differences of past performance to predict the future. And the GDP, residents income, savings deposit balance, import and export gross andlocal public finance budget income, total retail sales of social consumer goods, the whole social fixed assetsinvestment, urbanization rate index was explained, such as the system take the expert evaluation methodcommonly used (Delphi method) and factor analysis to determine the index weight. The research on the regional economic of China mainly divided into three parts. First choose on behalfof the seven indicators of economic comprehensive strength, they respectively are GDP, residents income,savings deposit balance, total import and export, financial general budget revenue, total retail sales of socialconsumer goods, total social investment in fixed assets, comprehensive analysis of the importance of theindividual indicators, adopt expert voting method, to determine the weights are the seven, establishes anindex system of regional economy comprehensive strength, in2000, for the base period, contrast study ofthe31provinces in2000,2005,2010,2012, the regional economic development index and thecomprehensive strength ranks. Then select representative comprehensive economic development level of10indicators, they are, respectively, per capita GDP, per capita income, per capita household savingsdeposit balance, export total per person, per capita financial general budget revenue, per capita total retailsales of social consumer goods, per capita total social investment in fixed assets, and the third industryshare of GDP, resident income as a share of GDP, urbanization rate, comprehensive analysis to theimportance of the individual indicators, adopt expert voting method, determine the weights are the ten,establishes an index system of regional economic development level, in2000, for the base period, theempirical study on the national31provinces,2000,2005,2010,2012, the comprehensive development ofindex and the rankings.
