A Research About Henggang Industrial Park Development Strategy

HengGang industrial park was established in March2007.The purposethis industrial park being established is to extend the industrial chain ofHengGang steel pipe product and look for new profit growth point and buildnew sales channels for existing steel pipe products. At the same time,establishing this industrial park is to format a steel pipe and tube deepprocessing industry cluster and create new job opportunities for largeNumbers of workers and pull the economic development of hengyang city.So, the future development of this park will impact HengGang and even thewhole economic development of HengYang. And to develop HengGangindustrial park, the first task is to find the way of the future development andthe development strategy, so this research has important significance.By using the theory of traditional and modern enterprise managementstrategy analysis methods, such as comparative analysis, case analysis,SWOT analysis and other research methods, This study analyzes the existingproblems HengGang industrial park faced and look for the way to solve theproblem, and analyzes the external opportunities and threats. Using theSWOT analysis matrix, this paper compares of the alternative strategies andfinds that the Opportunity--Advantage strategy is the optimal choice ofHengGang industrial park. Once Opportunity-Advantage strategy isdetermined, this paper formulates the long-term vision as well as themid-term plans in2014-2020and the annual development goals forHengGang industrial park under the guidance of Opportunity--Advantagestrategy.Comprehensive the above study, this paper finds that the HengGang industrial park can use some approaches to implement the advantage-opportunity strategy, this approaches are to improve the software andhardware condition; to implement the strategy of talents; to rely onhigh-quality talent the sustainable development of steel tube industrial park;to build and improve the science and technology innovation system andstrengthen technological innovation; to build steel pipe and steel deepprocessing industry alliance; To improve investment promotion and capitalintroduction and to set up a system of investment promotion and capitalintroduction.
