Against the backdrop of the cut-throat market competition, compensationmanagement has become a high priority of a company, for it is closely related tothe sustainable growth of the company. The salary mechanism will directlyinfluence the personnel management, cohesion, core competitiveness, image andabove all, long-term development of a company. An improper salary mechanismcan easily lead to the loss of talents and imbalance of management, weakencorporate cohesion and exert a negative influence on the corporate image.In recent years, the CG creative industry has achieved rapid development.As a member of this industry, JS Company focuses on designing and producingcreative digital images for customers who need these images to promote theirproducts and communicate with others. Given the growth momentum of the CGindustry, the company is now faced with great pressure in updating the structureof, maintaining good relations with and motivating its staff. How to foster a highsense of responsibility in the employees, stimulate their zeal for work, reduce therate of brain drain and build a high-performing workforce has posed a hugechallenge to the CG industry in personnel management.In view of the low salary level in JS that is less competitive than those inother companies within the CG industry, the improper salary distributionmechanism that reflects a lack of equality, the inappropriate ways of bonuspayment, as well as the separation of staff’s salary from the corporate profits, wehave explained the structure and status quo of different employees’ salaries,conducted surveys (the salary level; whether it is competitive, fair or stimulating)to find out the drawbacks of JS’s compensation management, come up with someplans to improve the salary distribution mechanism and tried to examine theeffect of these plans. All these are intended to improve JS’s compensationmanagement, increase the cohesion of the company and promote the corporateimage, so that JS Company can achieve long-term development.
