Lighter related industry, becomes thepillar industry in Shaodong economy, together with Liuyang fireworks and Lilingceramic make up one unique feature of industrial cluster for export in Hunan province.Thesis focus on the evaluation of international competitiveness of Shaodong lighterrelated industry and the analysis of factors that may influence the internationalcompetitiveness.The theoretical fundamental of thesis are comparative advantage theory andcompetitive advantage theory. By the same time, thesis bases on the situation andprospect of lighters related industry in Shaodong and builds a internationalcompetitiveness analysis model to evaluate lighter related industry in Shaodong fromthree different dimensions including international market share, index of tradecompetitive advantage, revealed comparative advantage index.
