| In modern companies, the employees’ positive behavior and attitude have become an important part of the core competitiveness of enterprises, while the core competitiveness determines company’s ability of the survival and development, therefore, the job involvement of employees plays a decisive role in enterprises’ development. Research shows that the behavior and style of superiors is considered to be an important situational variables which affects job involvement, there is a significant correlation between the degree of employees’ job involvement and their perceived superiors’ behavior.In order to further explore the effect path of that superior’ support behavior on job involvement, the research applies the affective events theory, discusses how the superior’ support behavior at individual level and team level, that is perceived supervisory support and team support atmosphere, impact on employees’ job involvement, and how to play the role of their positive emotions’ intermediary. The study applies structural equation model, hierarchical linear model and cross-level mediation-lower mediator model, the research sample is from30teams from different sectors of a total of462people.The study obtained the following conclusions:firstly, at the individual level, the superior’support behavior will increase the frequency of employees’ positive emotion. When more support behaviors are perceived by employees, the positive emotion caused by those behaviors will be more. Secondly, employees’ positive emotion has a significant positive impact on their job involvement, that is, when employee is in a state of positive emotion, the extent of their job involvement is higher. Thirdly, positive emotion at individual level plays an intermediary role between the superior’s support and employee’s behavior and job involvement. Fourthly, at the team level, team support atmosphere and job involvement is positively correlated, regulating effect and context effect of the cross layer variables are significantly. Finally, the multilevel intermediary role of employees’ positive emotion is also very significant.This study enriches the antecedents research of job involvement study, introducing new variables and verifies cross-level situational interactions, expanding the relevant research of superiors’ support behavior, positive emotion and job involvement. |
