Fierce competition, natural disasters, economic recession or the growing needs of the people all can may produce unexpected threats for the operation of organizations. Teams are required for organizations to adapt to rapidly changing environment. Any uncertainty and external turmoil can have serious impacts on the development of teams. If the organization can not respond very well, its’ survival and development will be further threatened. Moreover, any team will face some chronic pressure in the process of development. If these pressure can be controlled within a reasonable range, they can bring power to the development of the team. But if these pressure exceed the scope which the team can bear, they will make the team overwhelmed and greatly hinder the development of the team. So how to deal with these pressure as well as challenges to eliminate the potential negative impacts brought by adversities and actively adapt to the new environment to get better development under high pressure is essential to teams. Therefore,’Team Resilience’quickly becomes the focus in the field of positive organizational behavior research. This paper focuses on leadership behaviors’influence on team resilience and what kind of roles leadership behaviors can play. It can not only help to enrich the academic research on leadership and organizational behavior, but also can do good to leaders’ management practices, promoting the building of outstanding teams. Based on the ideas of this research and the availability of the data, this study selects 4 outstanding departments of 3 private hospitals which have better development situations in Beijing as the specific objects of this study. The study adopts qualitative research method, and gets the data through in-depth interview. The interviewees are a total of 19 leaders and doctors from above departments. On the basis of making an overview of some theories including Resilience, Team Resilience, Positive Emotions as well as Emotional Contagion and combining with the existing research achievements, this study creatively builds the model of leadership behaviors’ influence on team resilience and puts forward some relevant hypotheses. Then this paper makes four departments of private hospitals in Beijing as four cases to carry out a cross-case study to examine the rationality of the model and the related hypotheses. Finally this paper confirms the validity of the model. The main implications of the model are as follows:First, the leaders pay attention to identifying the the team’s stress. Second, the leaders help the team members and the team to relieve their pressure by stimulating them and using positive emotions to influence them, thus improving the forming of team resilience by making the team maintain a positive emotion state. These positive emotions on the team level can improve the diversity of strategies and behaviors the team adopts to cope with the stress, the work efficiency of the team under pressure, the pressure adaptability of the team and team cohesion, thus contributing to building a resilient team. And the whole team maintain a positive emotional state under the effect of emotional sharing mechanism.Based on the research results, this paper puts forward four main suggestions for the leaders of private hospitals in Beijing to construct outstanding resilient teams. First, the leaders should pay attention to managing the stress of the team. Second, the leaders should improve the incentive mechanism of the team. Third, the leaders should positively build their own resilience. Finally, the leaders should learn to use their own positive emotions to influence all team members.
