As the pillar industry of agriculture, Xianyou pomelo is a foreign brand business card of Xianyou Province, as well as an important symbol of local culture. In recent years, along with the ongoing reform of agricultural structure in China, the dramatic changes have been taken place in the production form of Xianyou pomelo. The increasingly fierce contradiction between small production scale and large market demand restricts the development of Xianyou Duwei pomelo industry.18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) brings the opportunity to agricultural and rural development, At the same time, the industrialization development of Duwei pomelo ushered in the golden period.In spite of the good trend of development and high economic benefit in Xianyou pomelo production, there are still many problems which restrict its industrialization. This thesis analyzes the specific content of the agricultural industrialization in the CPC18th National Congress as well as the backgrounds of the development of pomelo industry in Xianyou Province and China. Meanwhile, based on the investigation of production, consumption and industrialized operation of Xianyou Duwei pomelo, the thesis analyzes the advantages and restricting factors in Duwei pomelo industrialization, which included the following aspects:restricted planting area, limited production improving, unbalanced industrial development level, generally small production scale, low grower’s level of organization and quality, weak industrial organization, improvable internal policy, uneven level of technology, improvable overall capability, and unable to make breakthrough of technical difficulties.Aimed at the problems existed in the course of the development in Duwei pomelo industrialization, analyzing the theory in the CPC18th National Congress and then researching market development potential in Duwei pomelo and sustainable development in Duwei pomelo industrialization, the thesis put forward the countermeasure. First is to strengthen supporting policy and active research, looking for new breakthroughs in planting area. Implementing preferential fiscal and tax policies in order to promote the process of industrialization. Second is to perfect the internal mechanism, to carry out the industrial organizations in various forms, to strengthen the construction of Duwei pomelo professional cooperatives, to found professional market, to cultivate leading enterprises, to support the weak zone, and then to achieve common development. According to these, Duwei pomelo can promote the outward development and enhance the visibility. Third is to promote agricultural innovation and technology application. For example, implementing incentive mechanism to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements; training for science and technology is to improve the quality of industry team, furthermore, promotion for advanced science and technology is to solve production problems; try new varieties. Such as, planting early maturing or red-fleshed traits of new fruit tree to achieve industrial distillation; constructing information network system and setting up "orchard classroom" to improveorchardists’ quality, at the same time, information platform for training can make orchardists timely get all kinds of information concerning Duwei pomelo from home and abroad.
